Qlight Electronics (Qidong) Co., Ltd. completion ceremony held
On November 17, 2023, the completion ceremony of Qlight Electronics (Qidong) Co., Ltd. was held in Qidong City, Jiangsu Province, China. In 2001, Korea Q-Lite recognized the growth potential of the Chinese market and its importance as a global production base and established China Q-Lite. Afterwards, the Qidong factory was completed to accommodate the explosively increasing demand for products in China.After the after-party as a pre-ceremony event, we toured the Qidong factory. Under the guidance of General Manager Lee Jong-han, there is an employee lounge, main auditorium, reliability test room, physical training room, board storage warehouse, public relations center, lobby, integrated office, production site, shipping inspection room, site lounge, aging room, bonding room, bolt warehouse, wire crimping room, and purchasing. I looked around the Qidong factory, including the warehouse and import inspection room. The guests in attendance and the headquarters staff visiting from Korea were impressed by the well-maintained factory facilities and scale.At the completion ceremony, Kim Geun-mo, Executive Consul of the Korean Consulate in Shanghai, Yu Lichun, Vice Mayor of the Qidong City Government of Jiangsu Province, Secretary Xing Lingma of Qidong City\'s Gaoxin District, Kim Sang-yoon, Chairman of the Korea Reading Culture Foundation, Director Byeong-hwa Jeong, Senior Vice President of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jeong Hoe-nam, and Kim Myo-geum, Senior Representative of the Shanghai Representative Office of the Busan City Government of Korea Guests including the CEO, headquarters staff, and local Chinese staff were present. Vice President Park Young-cheol and Employee Hwang Yu-ting opened the ceremony by serving as emcee and interpreter, respectively. The event proceeded in the following order: opening declaration, introduction of guests, viewing of Qlight promotional video, progress report, commemorative speech, congratulatory address, tape cutting, and commemorative photo. I did it. Lastly, the completion ceremony was concluded with a spectacular fireworks launch.It was completed in September 2019 and began operation in January 2020, but the completion ceremony was delayed much longer than planned due to the sudden pandemic. Nevertheless, the Qidong factory has proven its excellent product production competitiveness, optimized processes from quality control, parts receipt, assembly, inspection, and finished product shipment, and the production capacity to support stable production. Based on this infrastructure, we will strengthen our global competitiveness and become a leading company that takes the lead in Qlight’s mission of ‘shared growth,’ ‘sharing management,’ and ‘industrial efficiency.’ Thank you to all the staff who prepared this inauguration ceremony.

Qlight Co., Ltd. Selected as “Family-Friendly Enterprise” againQlight Co., Ltd. was certified as the “Family-Friendly Enterprise” by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family for two consecutive times.Qlight was certified as the “Family-Friendly Enterprise” since December 2019 and certified again this year. “Family-Friendly Enterprise” certificate will be valid until November 2024. “Family-Friendly Enterprise” is a certification where the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family grants to companies that create family-friendly work place with excellent performance, in pursuit of supporting for childbirth and nurturing, flexible working hour system, and creation of a family friendly corporate culture.Qlight scored high on Family loving day, school expenses, childbirth and nurturing support, board members’ strong interest and commitment regarding the family-friendly management. Qlight, with recognition of its excellence in areas such as both in wage averages and wage growth rate, it was selected as the best company of all the certified companies this year in the fields of”’Excellent Wage Company” and “Excellent Work-Life Balance Companies” in that it successfully implemented welfare policies to provide a well-balanced life of employees. As an audible & visual signaling device and industrial LED work light manufacturer, Qlight developed an industry-leading technology by introducing new signaling devices that can be applied for Smart Factory system. On top of that, Qlight has been a market leader in terms of an innovation of manufacturing industry by focusing on diverse type of automatic solution monitoring systems based on state of the art signaling device technology.
