  • Qlight Korea has completed construction of its Site 3 Plant at our headquarters located in Busan, South Korea, in order to increase our production capacity and secure additional capacity for future growth. Sitting on a 42,625ft2 and a total floor area of 29,062ft2 in Gimhae,  the plant is capable of producing a wide range of Qlight products including fully enclosed heavy duty products and explosion-proof products. This site is expected to increase Qlight's total annual production capability by up to 35%.

    The newly completed Site 3 Plant is divided into a office building and a factory building. The office building consists of 3 stories with the first floor occupied by the quality control team and the outgoing inspection team.  The second and third floor is used as an employee welfare center which includes a cafeteria, gym, and resting lounge. The factory building is a modern manufacturing facility which used innovative construction techniques to build our cutting-edge manufacturing lines and testing facilities.

    Qlight expects that this high-tech factory will help us continue to maintain our market leadership with the use of unique production techniques such as our flexible customer-driven small batch production system, high efficiency SCM system, and cell-based production system to successfully meet rapidly growing needs of our customers from the US and Europe.

  • Qlight proudly announces the acquisition of the ATEX/ IECEx certificate for our QTEX/ QTEXB explosion proof LED tower light series on February 16th, 2018.

    QTEX/ QTEXB is a Exd II CT6 grade product used in hazardous explosive areas. This explosion proof product uniquely incorporates an 80um diameter LED tower light inside an explosion proof casing. The QTEXB is the first siren enabled explosion proof LED tower light in the industry to use a special flame arrestor with 3 structures that maximize the flame cooling effect while improving the buzzer sound design. Products with a flame arrestor design typically have structures that impedes siren volume. However, Qlight’s innovative design implements a 3 structure flame arrestor to eliminate this problem.

    Qlight’s carefully designed and managed explosion proof products from development to shipment are facilitated by the use of our own explosion proof testing facilities. This R&D test facility complies with the strict IEC17025 standard which allows us to quickly improve the quality and reliability of our explosion proof products to meet many of the world leading industry standards bodies.

  • Qlight announces a new digital marketing kit with Qlight literatures, corporate profiles, CI, and product images that you can easily download and provide for your online sales platforms.

    Qlight expects this kit to enhance the consistency and quality of Qlight’s product images and company information as well as to help our distributors/ sales agencies find these materials more conveniently and quickly.

  • Qlight proudly announces it has acquired KC (Korea Certification Mark) certification for newly released LED high bay series including SL75N4-KE-CRB(PC-V1)-QLI, SL65N4-KE-CRB(DC)-QLI, SL120N4-KE-CRB(PC-V)-QLI, SL120N4-KE-CRB(PW-V)- in October 2017.

    This SL series LED high bay is ultralight product with high energy efficiency of 140lm/W and easy installation and maintenance. This series provide superior electrical safety with built-in surge protector (8kV) and help enhance cooling system with Air-Fin heat sink technology.

  • Qlight’s ST45ML3-Ex and STB45ML3-Ex explosion proof LED tower lights has acquired safety certification from KCs (Korea Gas Safety Corporation) in October 2017.

    These explosion proof LED tower light series are designed to be non-sparkling and classified to Zone 2, which would not ignite the surrounding explosive atmosphere in normal operation and under certain fault conditions specified in the standard.

    Especially, increased range of maximum surface temperature per temperature class from T4(100°C - 135°C) to T6 (below 85°C) allows safer and more stable operation of the products.
