Qlight completed Workspace Transformation for Employee well-being and Efficiency

Headquarters and Busan Business Center, aiming to provide a better working, communication, and growth environment for employees. In addition, Qlight completed the construction of Chaewoondang, a new annex to its employee training center The Rabbit and the Spring, and officially opened it in June 2025. Further advancing its dual commitment to employee welfare and community engagement.This large-scale renovation was part of Qlight’s welfare roadmap initiated in 2022. It included from relocating Shanghai office, remodeling the Busan Business Center, restructuring logistics center at the production lines, expanding community and auditorium, and constructing the new Chaewoondang annex at the employee training center. Qlight has systematically improved its spaces in line with the roles and purpose of each site. These upgrades served as a catalyst for stronger employee engagement, improved welfare systems, and a more dynamic corporate culture.

Successful Completion of Qlight China Employee Visit to Gimhae Production Headquarters and Training Center“We felt the joy of face-to-face interaction and pride at the Korea headquarter”From June 12 to 15, a delegation of 36 employees from Qlight China visited Qlight Co., Ltd.’s Gimhae Production Headquarters and Employee Training Center. This meaningful event was designed to strengthen ties with the headquarters, instill pride in the company, and provide an opportunity for participants to experience Korean culture—especially valuable given the limited chances for in-person exchange in recent years.The visit began with a tea gathering at the Employee Training Center, \"The Rabbit and the Ongdalsaem,\" which also marked the opening of the new Chaeundang Hall. In the afternoon, the group enjoyed a memorable yacht experience off the coast of Haeundae and Gwangalli in Busan, creating lasting memories for all participants.On the second day, the group toured the production site at the Gimhae Headquarters and participated in department-level meetings for more direct communication. This was followed by cultural visits to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple and the Haeundae Beach Train. In the evening, a welcome dinner provided a warm and engaging opportunity for networking with Korean HQ employees.Due to rainy weather on the third day, the scheduled marine cable car and Taejongdae tour were replaced with shopping and lunch at the Lotte Dong-Busan Outlet. The group then leisurely explored the Nampo-dong area and Gwangalli Beach, further immersing themselves in Korean culture.Participants unanimously expressed how the visit deepened their pride in the company and strengthened their sense of belonging and motivation for their work. An Open Space for Employee Welfare and Community Cultural Engagement, Official Opening Scheduled for JuneQlight Co., Ltd. (CEO Heon-Gil Choi and Seung-Hyuk Choi) recently completed the construction of an annex building at its employee training center, “Rabbit & Ongdalsaem,” located in Samnangjin-eup, Miryang-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. The new facility was built to enhance employee welfare and provide cultural experiences. The official opening is scheduled for June 2025. “Rabbit & Ongdalsaem” is a space created against the backdrop of rich natural surroundings. Initially established as a training and relaxation center for Qlight employees, it has since been opened to local residents and has become well-loved as a “forest library.” In particular, the facility has been offered free of charge to artists, children’s organizations, and the general public, continuously evolving as an open cultural and welfare space where books and nature coexist in harmony.In response to the growing interest and increasing usage of the training center by both employees and the local community, Qlight decided to demolish its aging facilities—including the traditional clay room, exhibition hall of traditional household items, and the story pavilion—and proceed with the construction of a new annex building. The main building has been renovated to strengthen its research functions, while the newly built annex has been developed as a dedicated “recreation hall.” The newly constructed annex is a two-story building that harmoniously blends eco-friendly design with practical spatial planning. Inside, it features a banquet hall suitable for small workshops and gatherings, a book café for reading and lectures, a dedicated area for remote work, and modern accommodation facilities. Additional amenities include a tea room, a music listening room, and an exhibition space showcasing traditional household items, farming tools, and earthenware jars. Together with the existing facilities such as open-air pavilions, a grass garden, and pond, the annex offers visitors a variety of spaces for relaxation, reading, and hands-on experiences. Qlight continues to develop new programs and keep the space open to the public, with the aim of transforming “Rabbit & Ongdalsaem” from a simple training center into an open venue for culture and knowledge accessible to all. In practice, the facility hosts a variety of annual events, including internal gatherings such as tea meetings and autumn concerts, reading programs, and cultural events in collaboration with the local community. Through these efforts, Qlight has successfully balanced its dual goals of enhancing employee welfare and contributing to the local community.A key feature of the new annex is its design as a multifunctional complex where “rest,” “learning,” and interaction” can take place simultaneously. Qlight aims to enhance the quality of life for each of its employees while also strengthening partnerships with external organizations and community groups. Qlight Electronics (Qidong) Co., Ltd. completion ceremony held
On November 17, 2023, the completion ceremony of Qlight Electronics (Qidong) Co., Ltd. was held in Qidong City, Jiangsu Province, China. In 2001, Korea Q-Lite recognized the growth potential of the Chinese market and its importance as a global production base and established China Q-Lite. Afterwards, the Qidong factory was completed to accommodate the explosively increasing demand for products in China.After the after-party as a pre-ceremony event, we toured the Qidong factory. Under the guidance of General Manager Lee Jong-han, there is an employee lounge, main auditorium, reliability test room, physical training room, board storage warehouse, public relations center, lobby, integrated office, production site, shipping inspection room, site lounge, aging room, bonding room, bolt warehouse, wire crimping room, and purchasing. I looked around the Qidong factory, including the warehouse and import inspection room. The guests in attendance and the headquarters staff visiting from Korea were impressed by the well-maintained factory facilities and scale.At the completion ceremony, Kim Geun-mo, Executive Consul of the Korean Consulate in Shanghai, Yu Lichun, Vice Mayor of the Qidong City Government of Jiangsu Province, Secretary Xing Lingma of Qidong City\'s Gaoxin District, Kim Sang-yoon, Chairman of the Korea Reading Culture Foundation, Director Byeong-hwa Jeong, Senior Vice President of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry Jeong Hoe-nam, and Kim Myo-geum, Senior Representative of the Shanghai Representative Office of the Busan City Government of Korea Guests including the CEO, headquarters staff, and local Chinese staff were present. Vice President Park Young-cheol and Employee Hwang Yu-ting opened the ceremony by serving as emcee and interpreter, respectively. The event proceeded in the following order: opening declaration, introduction of guests, viewing of Qlight promotional video, progress report, commemorative speech, congratulatory address, tape cutting, and commemorative photo. I did it. Lastly, the completion ceremony was concluded with a spectacular fireworks launch.It was completed in September 2019 and began operation in January 2020, but the completion ceremony was delayed much longer than planned due to the sudden pandemic. Nevertheless, the Qidong factory has proven its excellent product production competitiveness, optimized processes from quality control, parts receipt, assembly, inspection, and finished product shipment, and the production capacity to support stable production. Based on this infrastructure, we will strengthen our global competitiveness and become a leading company that takes the lead in Qlight’s mission of ‘shared growth,’ ‘sharing management,’ and ‘industrial efficiency.’ Thank you to all the staff who prepared this inauguration ceremony.
