Qlight, a company specializing in industrial signaling devices, has strengthened its industrial site safety management system by acquiring ISO 45001 certification, the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems.

ISO 45001 is an international certification in the field of industrial safety and health established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and it is granted to companies that have an occupational health and safety management system that systematically manages risk factors in the workplace and protects the safety and health of employees.

Through this certification, Qlight reinforced its system for preventing industrial accidents and creating a safe working environment by inspecting the occupational health and safety management system across the entire workplace and establishing a safety management process centered on prior management and prevention of risk factors. In particular, it established a management foundation to protect the safety of employees through systematic safety management activities such as management of the working environment at manufacturing sites, inspection of risk factors, and reinforcement of occupational health and safety education.

In addition, Qlight’s Chinese subsidiary also acquired ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) certifications, further strengthening the safety and environmental management system of its global workplaces. Through this, not only in Korea but also at overseas production bases, safety and environmental management systems that meet international standards came to be operated.
